Got stress? Got a few minutes to work on it?
You’ve come to the right place.

Welcome and congratulations on starting your stress relief journey! Does the following sound familiar to you?

  • As a Leader, you have to ensure your team meets and exceeds expectations, on time and on budget. If they don’t, it is a poor reflection on you.
  • As an Entrepreneur, you have the stress of making payroll, managing employees and making sure your company succeeds. If you don’t deliver, your business and your reputation are in jeopardy.
  • As a Sales professional, you have the stress of hitting your quota every month, quarter and year – as well as dealing with rejection and finicky prospects/customers. If you don’t deliver on your numbers, your name will soon be on a different business card.
  • As a Marketing professional, you have the stress of unrealistic project deadlines, management critiquing your work, minimal budgets and resources. Similar to your Sales peers, if you don’t deliver, your name will likely be on a different business card when senior management is looking to cut headcount.

And what is most challenging? When you start doubting yourself – leading to the self-sabotage that comes with your limiting beliefs. This self-doubt ends up negatively affecting your career, personal relationships, and physical health.

This also puts you on the fast track to burnout, and once you hit burnout it’s too late. Believe me, I know from personal experience.

According to Forbes Magazine1, stress comes from believing we don’t have a choice and no longer have control. We feel boxed in. But the dire picture we paint in our minds is an exacerbated version of reality. Typically, you have more control than you think and typically the consequences are not as dire as you imagine.

Stress also comes from our personal relationships, running our own product lines, territories, businesses, and anything else that would qualify under “life happening.” However, not all stress is bad stress – it is how we perceive and respond to the stress that determines whether the stress takes its toll on us. By reviewing the content on this site, you will discover techniques that help you minimize and/or eliminate those stressful reactions that can lead to burnout so you can focus 100 percent on what matters most to you.
